Life support beating victim starts rehabilitation

Save A Kapiti man beaten so badly he had to be put on life support six weeks ago has started rehabilitation, but his path to recovery remains unclear.
Robert Bryden, 25, suffered serious head injuries in the early morning assault on Tory St, central Wellington, on September 15.
He was put
on life support in Wellington Hospital's intensive care unit but has since been transferred to a private facility".
Police today said his prognosis remained unclear.
The man arrested over the assault last month had his latest court appearace deferred today.
