Firefighters successfully contained a large fire in the Auckland suburb of Glendene last night.
It took seventeen fire crew to extinguish the fire at a house on Bancroft Ave after they were called to the blaze about 9pm.
Fire Safety investigators say initial indications are that a large fire in Glendene on Friday night was cause by leaking LPG.
An investigation is ongoing into the blaze on Bancroft Ave but the Fire Service have just tweeted a picture of the gutted house and updated the suspected cause.

A firefighter on the scene said initially two trucks were called, but on their approach they could see a large fire and made the call for additional crew.
