A large storage shed at a Wairarapa vineyard has been damaged by fire overnight.
A Fire Service spokeswoman said the blaze broke out just before 11pm at the Murdoch James Estate Winery in a building that housed tractors.
The 250sq m building was well ablaze when eight fire crews from
Martinborough and surrounding volunteer brigades arrived at the vineyard.
No one was injured and the fire was contained to the building.
Fire safety officers are investigating the cause of the blaze.
