Large entry for tourney

Sevens rugby will take centre stage at the Colombo Rd grounds in Masterton on Sunday.

The fourth annual Fitness Cup secondary schools tournament has attracted an excellent entry of 11 teams and possibly more to come.

Currently there are six boys teams; three from Wairarapa College and one apiece from Makoura College, Chanel College and Kuranui College.

The five girls teams consist of two from Wairarapa College and one from Makoura College, Kuranui College and St Matthew's Collegiate.

Kick-off is at 10am.

Meanwhile, the draw for the opening round of club rugby in Wairarapa-Bush tomorrow is:
