Lane blocked in Te Atatu after collision traps person

Police are at Te Atatu Rd near Jaemont Ave.

Emergency services are at Te Atatu Rd in west Auckland where a lane is blocked after two cars collided.

Police and ambulance were called to the scene near Jaemont Ave at 9.30pm.

A police spokeswoman said Fire and Emergency had to extract a person who was trapped but that person was reported to be "coherent and conscious".

A St John spokesperson said paramedics were at the scene.
