Walsh introduced the event at Spark Arena in Auckland, which kicked off at 8.45am today.
Prime Minister Christopher Luxon was there before this morning’s Ikea opening ceremony at Sylvia Park.
He was on a discussion panel alongside Finance Minister Nicola Willis about “realising your ambition”.
Labour leader and former Prime Minister Chris Hipkins also made an appearance.
The event is set to wrap up just after 5pm.
Edmonds recently hit headlines after she said the National Party was “planning to sell off public assets” after Treasury confirmed it was halfway through the asset review.
“It is clear that National is planning to sell off our public assets. Today the Treasury said they are assessing whether the Government should own certain public assets, a clear indication that they are laying the groundwork for asset sales. Labour will protect our public assets,” Edmonds said yesterday.
