Police are responding to reports of a knife-point robbery at a Tauranga liquor store.
Sergeant Phil Wilkinson said initial reports were that a man had gone into Greeton Liquor with a knife and demanded cigarettes.
Police were at the scene, he said.
A reporter at the scene said police were
inside the store talking to a staff member.
The shop has been closed.
