Kiwi diver feared missing in France

A New Zealander is feared missing off the coast of France.

Rhys Cochrane failed to surface after diving from a super yacht near Cannes, and police had since called off the search for him, Newshub reports.

Cochrane made the news in 2012 when he rescued an orca from being tangled in fishing nets.

His parents are reportedly travelling to France.
