If you thought your summer music options were already overflowing, another option has just been added to make your decisions even harder.
Katchafire, Sons of Zion and Aaradhna are teaming up for a 10-date tour across December and January, with Kora joining them for seven of the shows.
The tourkicks off on December 26 at Mangawhai Tavern, then heads to Russell on December 27, Coroglen Tavern on December 28, Whakatane War Memorial Hall on December 29, Petone Beach on December 30 and Butlers Reef in Oakura on December 31.
The tour continues on January 3 in Gisborne, heads to Napier on January 4, Opononi Hotel on January 6 and ends at Mangawhai Tavern on January 7.
Kora will peform at every show except the first in Mangawhai, Russell, and Oakura.
In further summer tour news, Sol3 Mio have added some big names to their upcoming Christmas jaunt.
Hollie Smith, Stan Walker and Orchestra Wellington will join the band for their December 15 Christmas On The Harbour show at Wellington's Waitangi Park.
For their December 17 Christmas in the Vines show at Canterbury's Waipara Hills, they'll be joined by Walker, Hayley Westenra and The Christchurch Symphony Orchestra
And for their Christmas in the Vines show at Auckland's Villa Maria, they'll share a stage with Dave Dobbyn, Hollie Smith, Stan Walker and The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.
The trio will perform a mix of opera arias, songs from their chart-topping two albums, and throw in some Christmas carols as well.
