Internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom has been remanded at large with his bail conditions unchanged at a bail hearing this morning.
Dotcom had faced the prospect of a return to jail today after New Zealand lawyers, acting for the United States in his extradition case, applied to the court last weekfor tighter restrictions on his bail conditions.
But in Auckland District Court today he was remanded at large on bail conditions set last week, including a ban on using helicopters, travelling by boat or travelling more than 80km from his home.
The extradition hearing has been put off until June to give Dotcom time to get new lawyers after his top flight legal team received the court's permission to withdraw from the case.
