A Kids on a holiday programme at St Matthew's Church, Masterton, this week are undertaking a variety of activities from making sombreros to indulging in Mexican food.
The holiday programme has a Mexican theme and runs each day from 10am to 12.30pm.
Team leader Brad McLaren said they chose adifferent theme each holiday and Mexico was chosen as the Bible story they are looking at is based in the desert.
He said the children would undertake a variety of activities from crafts, games and worksheets.

The Masterton Safe and Healthy Community Council free holiday programme will run from April 29 to May 2 for children aged 5 to 13 years old. The older children will be working in teams to build rafts. Call (06) 378 8900 for more information.

Masterton Library are inviting people along to make a make a lighthouse to celebrate the book A Beam of Bright Light at 10.30am on April 24. There will also be a craft session from 10.30am on May 1.
