A court has heard legal arguments ahead of Joe Karam's defamation case against two Justice for Robin Bain members.
Mr Karam, a long-time David Bain supporter, has filed defamation proceedings against Kent Parker and Victor Purkiss in the High Court at Auckland.
The alleged defamation relates to comments allegedly made
on Facebook, Trademe and on a website.
Legal arguments were today heard in the High Court ahead of a two-day trial, which is due to start on Wednesday.
