Kahui back in court for bail hearing

Double murder accused Chris Kahui returned to court today for a disputed facts hearing on a charge of breaching bail.

Kahui was bailed last week after being committed for trial in the High Court in Auckland for murdering his three-month old sons, Chris and Cru.

He was arrested shortly afterwards and appeared in Manukau District Court for breaching his bail terms - drinking and associating with young children without supervision.

But the case was adjourned until today for a disputed facts hearing after Kahui's lawyer said he would challenge the police evidence.
