Jenson Button's dad has sparked a police hunt in Italy when he reported his Ferrari stolen - only to realise he'd parked it in another town.
John Button told police he feared his Ferrari 550 had been taken from where he parked it on the Italian Riviera.
The Daily Telegraph reported police scoured the town over 48 hours looking for the $100,000 vehicle.
Then it dawned on Mr Button he had mixed up his villages.
The police apparently found the incident quite amusing and asked Button senior to give their regards to Jenson.
Meanwhile, footballer Jermaine Pennant was contacted this week after his Porsche had been left in a Spanish railway station car park for five months.
He reportedly said he had forgotten about it.
