Fact: Kids are driven to school.
So parents buy an SUV so their kids will be safe. (Good luck to everyone else!)
Fact: Some people have a lot of kids.
Congratulations, your reproductive system works. Buy a "baby on board" sign and a Honda Odyssey.
Fact: Some people tow caravans and boats.
Buy a 4WD ute or leave it in its natural spot (ie. the water).
Fact: Some people go skiing twice a year.
Is it really worth lugging around 2 tonnes of SUV for those few precious hours a year going up the mountain?
Fact: Property developers squeal, "I got my Audi TT stuck on the grass once".
Yes, there are some reasons for buying an SUV, but in MOST cases something else would be better.

For 62 years, Betty Davies has swept the footpath outside her house. But the 88-year-old was recently told to stop doing it by a council worker in the Cardiff area of Splott in Wales. She says the man told her she could be taken to court and fined for breaking littering laws because she swept leaves into the street. (Source: Reason.com)

One dancer said: "I've been a vegan for 3 1/2 years and I can't stand the thought of working in a place that serves murder victims on a bun." The club's website explains its philosophy: "Creatures, human and non-human, should be allowed to do whatever they want as long as they don't step on someone else's hooves. In this Universe that is virtually impossible but we mean to change all that ... eventually.
