The tiny iPod player topped the list last month with 38,992 searches, according to the latest figures from Trade Me.
But rental property in Auckland is poised to knock Apple's
portable music player from the top of the table.

The fastest mover was PlayStation Portable, rocketing from the 18th most searched for item in August to the fourth most searched for item last month.
Heralding the return of spring, sunglasses and sports motorcycles entered the top 20.
Playboy Clothing still ranks as the top fashion label, despite slipping to fifth place in overall searches.
Roxy holds steady at sixth place.
Tupperware was the eighth most searched for item, up two places from August.
The latest Nielsen//NetRatings figures show Trade Me had more than 2 million unique New Zealand visitors in September.
More than 1.2 million New Zealanders are members of Trade Me and the site carries more than half a million listings.
