Oscar in pictures: The Oscar statuette

The 2003 Academy Awards on display at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, January 23, 2004. The 2003 Oscar statuettes, which will be on display in Chicago until February 14, will be awarded at the 76th Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood, February 29. This is the first time that a full set of Oscars, which are made in the Chicago area by R.S. Owens, have been on display prior to the awards ceremony.
