Oscar in pictures: $2.9m shoes on display

A $US2m($NZ2.9m) Oscar shoe made out of Kwait diamonds, designed by Stuart Weitzman, which will be worn at the 76th Academy Awards by singer Alison Krauss, is shown in this photograph at the Stuart Weitzman suite at a hotel in Beverly Hills.

Krauss will perform the original song "You Will Be My Ain True Love" from "Cold Mountain" with Singer Sting during the Oscar telecast. The song is nominated in the Original Song category.
