Investigators return to Chch house fire scene today

Fire investigators are returning to the scene of a house fire in Christchurch today.

A southern fire communications spokesman said the blaze was discovered on Wainoni Rd at 6.15pm yesterday. No one was injured in the blaze.

The property was owned by the Christchurch Earthquake Recovery Authority and was not inhabited at the time, the spokesman said.

"The cause is undetermined, but police were called at the time. On arrival it was well involved [with fire]."
