Investigations into the cause of a fire at a Hutt Valley secondary school will continue today.
Fire fighters were called to Upper Hutt College in Trenthem about 9.40 last night after a fire alarm went off.
They arrived to find a fire in a technical block, which took about 30
minutes to quell.
Five fire appliances attended the scene.
A fire investigator went to the school last night, but the cause of the blaze wasn't yet known, a fire spokesman said today.
