Investigations are continuing today into a crash involving a car and the Capital Connection train.
The passenger train clipped the vehicle at a private rail crossing near Te Horo on the Kapiti Coast around 6.30pm yesterday.
The two occupants of the car received minor injuries and were treated at the
scene.
The 100-plus passengers on the Palmerston North bound train were all uninjured.
Drivers are being urged to take extra care at railway crossings.
