Internet Mana merger nets $600,000 boost

Internet Mana's coffers have swollen by more than $600,000 as a result of the two parties' merger.

The joint party has declared eight donations worth a total of $616,747 from the internet Party.

Kim Dotcom gave a total of $3.25 million to the internet Party in May. internet and Mana joined forces later in the month.

A spokesman said some of that money was being transferred from the internet Party to the internet Mana Party, and had to be declared.

Internet Mana also declared a $39,500 donation from Auckland billboard company M5 Limited.

The party's spokesman said this money was a discount on billboard space, and did not indicate political support from the company.
