An intellectually disabled Wellington man missing since Friday morning has been found in Upper Hutt.
Marcos Desmond van Velzen, 32, of Johnsonville, was reported missing by his mother.
Police said Mr van Velzen was an avid cyclist who loved the outdoors, and had been known to travel long
distances on his bike.
Police said a member of the public called police after seeing Mr van Velzen with his bike in a barn in Whiteman's Valley.
He had previously travelled as far as Masterton and Wanganui before being found.
