Infant death in Beachlands, Auckland, being treated as unexplained

Police are treating the death of an infant at a home in Beachlands, Auckland, as unexplained.

A police spokesperson said officers were called to a home on Ninth View Ave at 10.22pm.

“At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and police are investigating on behalf of the coroner.

“Further information will be provided when we are in a position to do so.”
