An extremely rare albino orangutan, which has blonde hair and blue eyes, has been rescued in Borneo.
The five-year-old primate was being held captive by locals when she was rescued by a team from the BOS Foundation, a conservation organisation in Indonesia.
The incredible animal has pale skin, hair andeyes, and is sensitive to light. The charity says she is the first albino it has rescued, the Daily Mail reported.
She was rescued on April 29 after the foundation was tipped off by police.
A charity statement said: "We will continue to observe her and conduct routine health tests.

"She was held captive by local residents for two days and still displays wild behaviours, meaning there is a good chance she could soon be released back to a natural habitat."
Albino orangutans are extremely rare. Borneo News reports that around one in 10,000 has the condition.
