Crime scene: Woman picks up lost wallet

Police are seeking the identity of a woman who picked up a wallet containing $745 in cash after it was dropped at the Albany Pak'n Save on January 24.

Video footage shows her first standing on the wallet and checking no one is watching. She then picks it up and places it in her bag.

Other contents included several identifying cards including the owner's driver's licence.

Anyone finding such an item is required by law to make every attempt to locate the owner. To date this wallet has not been handed in to the police.
