Crime scene: Sculpture disappears from Epsom Library

Staff at the Epsom Community Library arrived on Wednesday, June 9, to find that the sculpture outside was gone.

The heavy, 2m-tall stainless-steel work, Phoenix Rising, by Keith Simpson, was put there to celebrate the library's reopening in 1998. It was well bolted down.
