Human leg found on beach identified

A leg found washed up on a Timaru beach has been identified as belonging to Dunedin woman Alishia Dixon, who was last seen on Christmas Eve.

Public appeals and police searches failed to find any trace of Ms Dixon or her Honda car. But in early February, a man walking his dog on a Timaru beach found a boot with a human foot inside it.
