Human bones posted to businessman

Police are seeking information about a human skull and jawbone posted to a businessman.

Detective Rick Rudolph of Tokoroa police said he wanted to speak to the person who had posted them to find out where the bones came from and how the person came to have them.

Mr Rudolph said the bones had been identified as being from a caucasian adult male and a young female.

The letter writer said they had been found in a cave in the Waotu district, southeast of Putaruru.
