House gutted by fire north of Auckland

A house near Wellsford north of Auckland has been gutted by fire overnight.
Fire fighters were called to the fire, on State Highway One at Wayby Valley, on the north side of Dome Valley south of Wellsford, about 12.07am.
Fire Service spokesman Jaron Phillips said the fire was "well involved"
when crews arrived.
About 30 firefighters were called to the scene, and two tankers were called due to limited water in the area, Mr Phillips said.
The fire has been extinguished and fire safety are investigating.
