A person has been injured in a house fire in suburban Christchurch tonight.
Southern Fire Communications' shift manager Brent Dunn said they were alerted to what was described as a bedroom fire at a house on Dalriada St about 8.30pm.
When they arrived at the house in the suburb of
Papanui they discovered it was "fully ablaze", Dunn said.
One of the occupants had suffered burns to their arm, Dunn said.
Information on the age and the sex of the person were not available.
