Horses die after being hit by car in south Auckland

Two horses have died after being hit by a car in south Auckland this morning.

The crash happened at the intersection of Mill and Alfriston Rds in Papakura at 6.20am.

The driver of the vehicle received minor injuries.

Alfriston Rd was closed and diversions were in place.
