Horowhenua hospital a step closer

Horowhenua's new hospital is a step closer.

MidCentral Health and the Ministry of Health announced yesterday the National Capital Committee (NCC) has recommended funding be reserved for the $14 million project.

Reserved funding gave considerable certainty the project would go ahead if the community, primary health care providers and MidCentral agreed to provide integrated, co-ordinated health care services from the new purpose-built facility.
