Hilton under wraps

A leaky section of the Hilton hotel on Princes Wharf in central Auckland has been "shrink-wrapped".

The project is the work of Shrink Wrap Services, which provides weather-tight shelters made out of a durable resin material that shrinks to about 30 per cent of its surface area when heat is applied.

Shrink Wrap Services said a 400 sq m leaky section of the hotel would be repaired beneath the weather-tight shrink-wrap material.
