Comedians Jeremy Elwood, Michele A'Court and Steve Wrigley had the crowds laughing up a storm at Gladstone Vineyard last weekend.
Vineyard owner Christine Kernohan said the weather was fantastic and the crowd had a great time on Saturday night. "We couldn't have asked for a better afternoon. The audience broughtpicnic baskets, blankets and an attitude for a fun, relaxing night out which was exactly what they got."
"We were really excited to see a large crowd from a variety of places. As well as many locals we attracted people from Wellington, Auckland, Australia, the UK, even a big group from Eketahuna."
Wrigley opened the show, by typically offending at least half of the audience - especially those from Masterton. He brought them back on board with hilarious takes on the new give-way rule and his opinions on everything from the same sex marriage bill to the drive over the Rimutakas.
It was a return to the vineyard for him as he performed in Gladstone's Summer Shakespeare series 10 years ago.
A'Court was up next and offered satirical commentary on children, ex and current husbands and New Zealand's national colour - black, which as she said, isn't a colour.
Headlining the show was Jeremy Elwood, the Kiwi-Canadian who offended everyone and had them rolling on the grass with laughter.
