Highway blocked after cattle truck catches fire

Save Several cattle have been put down and a state highway blocked after a cattle truck caught fire near Tatuanui this afternoon.
The cattle truck was about three kilometers south of Tatuanui on SH27 when it caught fire.
Police said the highway is currently blocked and diversions are in place via
Kereone Road and Cussen Road.
While the driver was uninjured, some cattle on the truck had to be put down at the scene by a vet.
