The number of jobs paying more than $100,000 is on the rise, according to data from Seek New Zealand.
Six-figure positions listed on the website have increased by 30 per cent in the past year, creating the need for a dedicated $100k+ section that was launched today (Monday).
"The "significant"
growth of high-paying jobs was spread across a range of industries, with IT and technology, engineering, accounting, sales and healthcare and medical making up the top five.
Technology and IT had the highest number of roles advertised with a salary of $100,000 or more, said Seek general manager Janet Faulding.
Auckland has the biggest proportion of high salary roles, 58 per cent of the total, - more than double any other region.
