A pilot with a history of off-duty fainting has been grounded again.
Geoff Paterson won a district court appeal against the decision to refuse him a medical certificate, that the director of Civil Aviation wants to appeal.
A High Court judge yesterday said the public interest in aviation safety must prevail. He stopped the order requiring the issuing of a medical certificate from taking effect.
