We need your help again this Christmas to give back to the community in the spirit of the festive season.
Last year the trolley in the Times-Age office was brimming with non-perishable food for the needy who seek help from the Masterton Foodbank.
For the past two years staff atthe newspaper have held the food collection. Office manager Liz McCracken said last year people were incredibly generous, dropping off enough food to feed a small army during the collection.
A shopping trolley will sit in the foyer of the Chapel St office so people can help fill it over the next two weeks.
"Last year was amazing. The trolley was overflowing and we also had two large cartons. I was overwhelmed at the generosity of people," she said.
The Times-Age holds the food collection "to return something back to the community in the spirit of giving", Mrs McCracken said.
Non-perishable food can be dropped into the Wairarapa Times-Age office on the corner of Chapel and Perry streets during office hours 8.30am until 5pm Monday to Friday.
