A child has been flown to hospital with serious injuries after being trapped under a log at Raglan.
A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said they were notified of an incident in Raglan at 3.44pm, responding with an ambulance, Prime vehicle and one helicopter to the scene.
Policesaid they received a report of a child being trapped under a log, but deferred further comment to Fire and Emergency New Zealand and St John.
The St John spokesperson said crews assessed and treated one patient at the scene.
