Heinz Wattie recall baked beans

Heinz Wattie is recalling a variety of baked beans after a consumer found metal in a 420g can of Wattie's Extra Tomato baked beans.

Anyone who bought a 420g can of the baked beans stamped with the production code TG2100 should return the can to where it was bought for a refund or replacement.

It was believed the piece of metal came from a pump used in the production progress and as the batch was produced a year ago the company believed remaining cans were likely to be in consumers' pantries rather than on store shelves.
