Hedgehog thrown through window of West Coast house

A Cobden resident arrived home at the weekend after days away to find an unwelcome prickly present and a mess of broken glass.

It appears someone had thrown a hedgehog through the front window of the Lynch Street house.

The bizarre incident occurred some time between Thursday and Saturday.

Whether the hedgehog was alive at the time of the act has not yet been determined, but it was dead when the property owner arrived home.

No other damage to the house was apparent and it seemed whoever threw the hedgehog did not enter the property.
