Save Police were called to a two car head-on collision at Great South Rd, Huntly at 6.35 pm tonight.
Two occupants from one car and three occupants from the other car were injured and taken to hospital by ambulance.
One person was considered to be in a serious condition.
All the
patients were in their early twenties and they were all from Auckland.
The road was closed for a scene examination but has now been reopened.
