Police have expanded their search to Motu Rimu waterways for missing Southland man Kevin Belling.
The 62-year-old was last seen at his Motu Rimu farm on Friday, January 9, and was reported missing on January 18.
Detective Sergeant John Kean said police Search and Rescue and Land Search andRescue teams had conducted extensive searches, including at the Belling’s Caesar Rd property in Kapuka.
“Southland Police are now proceeding to examine effluent ponds and other waterways on the Motu Rimu farm owned by Kevin,” he said.
“Police urge the community to be vigilant and check their rural properties for any signs of Kevin.”
