Happy with success

Looking suitably delighted after their third placing in the under-15 boys medley club relay event at the national age group swimming championships in Christchurch are the Masterton team of, from left, William Prior, James Pope, Tim Smith and Teina Hullena. It was an exceptional effort for such a small club competing against the "big guns" like North Shore, Capital from Wellington and West Auckland Aquatics, whose coach Donna Bouzaid mentored the Wairarapa team at the age group championships. She formerly swam out of the Masterton club herself.
