Terminal Operator
Terminals (N.Z.) Limited is a sister company of Gull New Zealand Limited a growing independent oil company which operates a network of service stations, a bulk fuel terminal and retail convenience stores. The terminal is located in Mt. Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty.
We have a need for a Terminal Operator who will be responsible for operating and maintaining the terminal by means of scheduled maintenance tasks and to ensure safe product receipt via tank ships. Relief duties will cover bunkers, ship transfers and administrative duties.
Key Requirements of the position
• Major hazard or dangerous goods facility or similar experience.
• Knowledge and experience to maintain plant and machinery.
• Previous experience with automated gantry systems would be highly regarded.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work unsupervised and make sound decisions
• Must be able to demonstrate sound health and safety skills
• Skilled in MS office suite products.
An appropriate trade qualification and/or previous industry work experience would be considered for this position.
