A second Greytown After 5 meeting of minds and mission statements will run at the Cobblestones Museum next week.
Dave Butler-Peck, Greytown Community Sport & Leisure Society executive, said the organisation was staging the informal event on Thursday from 5.30pm to 7pm at the museum in Main St.
"GA5 isa local initiative that provides an opportunity to network with like-minded businesses and community organisations in a relaxed environment - connect with people you know and meet new contacts in the local area."
Cobblestones Museum, Greytown District Trust Lands and Destination Wairarapa were sponsoring the upcoming GA5, he said, and there were plans to run similar events in future.
"It is hoped the event will continue to be a quarterly fixture on the Greytown calendar, with two businesses already lined up for next year."
Mr Butler-Peck invited prospective hosts of a Christmas GA5 event to contact him.
"Let us know if you'd like to host a Christmas GA5 and promote your business - perhaps in partnership with another organisation. We'll be here here to help every step of the way."
He said registration was essential for the upcoming event. RSVP to 021 922 122 or greytownsport@xtra.co.nz by Friday.
