Grass fire lit in Mount Roskill

Multiple calls to emergency services were made as a visible grass fire lit in Mount Roskill this afternoon.

Fire services were called at 2.43pm near the top of Mount Roskill, northern communications centre shift manager Jaron Phillips said.

A couple of fire crews were still fighting the fire, he said.

The size of the fire is still unknown.

There are no reports of injuries.
