The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) says there have been no complaints against cabbies in the region in the past three years. There are five registered taxi operators in Wairarapa.
Information provided by the NZTA said passengers could expect drivers to beorderly and civil, and give a receipt if asked.
All complaints to taxi companies are inspected by the NZTA.
