Going like hell to get south

12:20: After two days of going nowhere we finally got some wind late last night and we've been running with the spinnaker up ever since.
We're now starting to close on Cape Egmont and we're doing between 13 and 17 knots.
We've had a pod of dolphins swimming with us and at one point a whale cruised past the boat.
And - it's the first time I've seen it - we saw a shark do a somersault in the air about 50 metres ahead of Waka.
Right now I'm just down below cooking up some spaghetti Bolognese because the forecast is for it to get rougher, so we're trying to get some food in while we can.
I'm not sure what our arrival time will be in Wellington - we've still got a way to go and it'll depend how far we get before southerly change hits.
Meantime, we're going like hell.
